Founder
Zora is a New York–licensed architect, design leader, researcher, and longtime Roosevelt Island resident. She is the founder and principal of ZB Architecture and the founder of ArchRI, a community-based initiative advancing thoughtful planning, adaptive reuse, public education, and meaningful resident participation. Through ArchRI, she leads research, advocacy, community outreach, and agency engagement focused on Roosevelt Island’s buildings, public spaces, and long-term development. Her work connects architecture, urban design, sustainability, and community life, with particular interest in how the built environment can support belonging, civic identity, and durable public space.
